Advancing electrification through high-performance solutions for power-dense motors.
Creating solutions that enable the electrification revolution
Industrial applications are varied and demanding. Alloys must deliver high magnetic performance in varying conditions, often within harsh environments or with corrosive fluids.
Modern manufacturing plants operate at high levels of precision and are continually advancing their capabilities. Whether for motors that drive rapid motion within equipment, or for solenoids that accurately dispense adhesives, paints, and other liquids, these applications depend upon high-performance soft magnetic materials.
Semiconductor and other advanced production equipment require responsive and precise linear motors to move and position stages, gantries, and related high precision components. Our soft magnetic alloys and stacks make linear motors more responsive and powerful, as well as smaller and lighter.
Our expertise in specialized materials and stack processing ensures the highest performance stator and rotor stacks produced with high induction and high permeability alloys. Processing methods for dimensional control, high-strength, and tailored magnetic properties support the most demanding design requirements and production tolerances.
Highest magnetic induction and low losses with mechanical properties that can be tailored to meet both stator and rotor application needs.
High Permeability 49 has very high magnetic permeability, low core losses, and good magnetic induction.
Soft magnetic alloys open and close valves within industrial equipment to precisely dispense fluids such as adhesives and paints. Corrosion resistant alloys are suitable for harsh chemicals, and unique alloy forms are available for reduced downstream steps during production of solenoids and actuators.
